Tiffany Walker, Education Director, twalker@positiveplace.org

Tiffany has worked at WBGC for a while now.  Before working at the Club she worked as an administrative assistant for a yearbook company and also as a receptionist for a chiropractic office.  She knew she always wanted to work with kids, and in September 2006 found a position at the Club.  Her favorite thing to do at the Club is running SMART Girls, a self-esteem and empowerment program for young girls.  Tiffany says she feels lucky to be able to go to a job that she looks forward to on Monday mornings.  She loves the staff, volunteers and especially the kids here.  In her free time she loves to shop, play darts and pool (or any other kind of competitive game), read a good book, or just generally hang out with friends and family.

Jen Crispino, Administrative Assistant, jcrispino@positiveplace.org

Jen started working at WBGC as a program staffperson in February 2006 while attending the University of Washington, majoring in English with a minor in Philosophy.  In February 2010, she was hired as the Administrative Assistant and is loving her new position.  Her favorite thing about working at the Club is interacting with a wide variety of kids, with an even wider variety of personalities, and being able to watch them grow.  Jen's favorite things in life are:  family and friends, going to the movies, finding a book she can't put down, playing board/card games, spinach and artichoke dip, trying out new foods and restaurants, and experiencing some new adventures, whether that be working on a chicken farm for a couple weeks or jumping out of a plane - of which she's done both.

Tanya Larkin, Senior Child Care Director, tlarkin@positiveplace.org

Tanya took on the Senior Child Care Director Role starting in Fall 2011.  She graduated from Central Washington University in June 2004 with a BA in Elementary Education and a minor in Family Consumer Sciences.  In June 2005, she joined WBGC as the Sacajawea Child Care Director.  Tanya is currently the Senior Child Care Director and oversees four five WBGC sites--Sacajawea, View Ridge, B.F. Day, Bagley, and Olympic Hills Boys & Girls Clubs.  In 2006, she was named Boys & Girls Clubs of King County's Childcare Professional of the Year.  Tanya guided the Sacajawea Club's NAA accreditation, which is the highest national accreditation  a school-age site can receive.  Sacajawea is currently the only Boys & Girls Club childcare in King County to have this accreditation.  Tanya also assisted the restructuring of our View Ridge Club, and plans to provide a lot of support for our two new sites, Bagley and Olympic Hills.  Most importantly, Tanya has created a positive, warm and welcoming environment for children to come to before and after school.
