WBGC Kids Rock the Wallingford Kiddies Parade

On July 12, 2008, about 50 Wallingford Boys & Girls Club members, families and staff took part in the 59th Annual Wallingford Kiddies Parade.  The Club's summer C.I.T.'s (Counselors-in-Training), had prepared for the event by making "cars" out of boxes.  Most of the members had a car all to themselves, as they motored down 45th Street and passed out candy to parade watchers.  There were thousands of parade watchers along the route, all cheering on the kids and waving.

WBGC is also a sponsor of the parade, which is a great Seafair event, and also includes a street fair afterwards.  During the street fair, WBGC set up a booth to sell Club t-shirts and hand out information about the Club and Club programs.
