WELCOME TO B.F. DAY BOYS & GIRLS CLUB!
Our program is located on site at B.F. Day Elementary, and includes classroom space within the school's main building. Our curriculum is based on Seattle Public Schools standards and we seek to provide a nurturing, caring place for members to come after school. We seek strong relationships with parents and families. We strive to provide care for any child that needs it, and place no limitations on the number of kids we serve who are on state and city subsidies. We provide a wide variety of activities (arts and crafts, music activities, gardening, outside sports, cooking projects, etc.) that pertain to the interests of all children that come to our program. We also provide homework help and communicate with teachers and parents about specific areas of support children need.
Space in the program is limited, and is based on grade level. We can accept approximately 25 kids in our yellow group (Kindergarten); 30 kids in our green group (grades 1-2); and 20 kids in our blue group (grades 3-5). This may change based on school enrollment, but the overall capacity remains the same. Spots are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Please feel free to email or call us with any questions you may have about the program.
