WELCOME TO THE BURKE 45TH STREET BOYS & GIRLS CLUB

Summer programs registration begins April 1st.  The free program will run noon to 6 p.m.  All-day care is available (7 a.m. to 6 p.m.) for $25/day or $95/week.  We are again offering the Counselor-In-Training Program for responsible teens and - NEW THIS YEAR - there are several low-cost camping trips available for members in grades 4-9.  Please click on the links at right for details or call 206-547-7261 for information

PROGRAM OVERVIEW:

The Club's youth development program has been serving families for over 60 years - providing a safe and positive place for kids ages 5 to 18 to go after school and during non-school days.  The best part of all is that this program is absolutely FREE to members!  Participants can expect a daily schedule that includes unstructured and structured gym games, a snack, quiet time, small group activities, time in the computer lab and art room, and free time.  There is a separate programming area for teens, and specialized assistance may be arranged for any family that requests it.  Our youth to adult ratio is approximately 1:15, and includes staff, paid tutors, and volunteers.

SCHOOL YEAR PROGRAM HOURS:

Monday through Friday, 2-7 p.m.  Ask about special events and teen late nights, which will happen several times each quarter.  On non-school days, including school breaks and in-service days, we will be open noon to 6 p.m. for members.  Additional care on non-school days from 7 a.m. to noon is $25 per day or $95 per week.

SUMMER PROGRAM HOURS:

Monday through Friday, noon to 6 p.m. for FREE.  All day care (7 a.m. to 6 p.m.) is available for $25/day or $95 per week.  Field trips will be posted on a weekly basis and are generally in the afternoon so that those members who usually attend the free afternoon program can go.  Look for a posted field trip schedule as space is often limited and taken on a first-come, first-served basis.  There may be a small fee for some field trips.

TO REGISTER:

To attend the free youth development program, you must become a member of Wallingford Boys & Girls Club.  To become a member, you can simply come to the Club to pick up membership information, or you can download the membership forms using the links at right and either bring them to the Club or mail them in.  Registration costs $15 per member, and is good through August 31, 2010.  The membership fee must be paid at the time of registration.  The Club accepts cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
