Summer 2008 Extended-Day Program, 7 a.m. to noon Free Youth Development Program, noon to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday
206-547-7261 for information PROGRAM OVERVIEW: The Club's youth development program has been serving families for over 60 years - providing a safe and positive place for kids ages 5 to 18 to go after school and during the summer. The best part of all is that this program is absolutely FREE to members! During the summer, the Club's excellent staff provide a variety of fun activities, field trips, and supervised games to keep members engaged and active throughout the season. Weekly schedules are always available to help your family plan. These are especially helpful to have handy during the summer as we do so many field trips. Participants can expect a daily schedule that includes unstructured and structured gym games, a snack, quiet time, small group activities, time in the computer lab and art room, and free time. There is a separate programming area for teens, and specialized assistance may be arranged for any family that requests it. Our youth to adult ratio is approximately 1:15, and includes staff, paid tutors, and volunteers. SCHOOL YEAR PROGRAM HOURS: Monday through Friday, 2-7 p.m. Ask about special events and teen late nights, which will happen several times each quarter. On non-school days, including school breaks and teacher in-service days, we will be open noon to 6 p.m. for members. Additional care on non-school days from 7 a.m. to noon is $25 per day or $95 per week. SUMMER PROGRAM HOURS: FREE PROGRAM: Monday through Friday, noon to 6 p.m. - The free program includes the variety of activities listed above, plus field trips almost daily. Field trips may require an additional fee be paid, and they are always optional as there is plenty going on at the Club! For families that need all-day care, we offer the extended-day program... EXTENDED-DAY PROGRAM: Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to noon - Families needing all-day care can choose to participate in our extended day program. The extended day program costs $25 per day or $95 per week if fees are paid by Monday of that week. At noon, extended-day participants become part of the general youth development program. Extended-day participants do not need to pay additional fees to go on field trips, unless noted on the schedule.
