WELCOME TO WALLINGFORD BOYS & GIRLS CLUB!

Wallingford Boys & Girls Club is a branch of Boys & Girls Clubs of King County.  We have been serving the youth of North Seattle since 1947.  Any youth, regardless of age, gender, race or ethnic background, religion, sexual orientation, economic status, or disability, may become a member of the Club.  We provide a variety of programs to meet the needs of our community.  We emphasize our core youth development strategy in everything we do, and encourage our members towards positive growth by providing an atmosphere that is fun, safe, educational and inclusive.  Our program offerings include a free Youth Development Program, teen programs, licensed child cares, athletics, and summer camps.

HALLOWEEN   HOOPLA   2008   IS ALMOST   HERE!

HALLOWEEN HOOPLA WILL BE A SPOOKY GOOD TIME FOR ALL!  Our annual Halloween extravaganza is the biggest and best neighborhood event for families in North Seattle.  Over 500 people attended last year to enjoy the haunted house, games, art projects, and treats.  New this year - our event is on SATURDAY, so set your calendar for October 25th, 2008, from 6-9 p.m.  Click here to download a flyer for Halloween Hoopla 2008.  Don't forget to tell your friends.  Everyone is welcome, ages 0-100!

Can you help with the Hoopla? We are looking for businesses and individuals who are willing to sponsor our great event.  Since we only charge $1 for attendees, we rely on your support to make this event possible.  We are also looking for in-kind gifts of candy, cake mixes, balloons, and much more.  Additionally, we have the need for volunteers to work at carnival booths and in the haunted house.  For more information about Hoopla sponsorships and donations, or volunteering, please contact Meghan Sweet at msweet@positiveplace.org or 206-547-7261.  Please click here to download a copy of our sponsorship and in-kind donation form here.
